Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Repair Centre Engineer to join a well-established IT services organisation based in Birmingham. This is a temporary opportunity offering hybrid working and the chance to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a range of IT hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, and retail equipment
  • Perform component-level repairs
  • Support other departments when required
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
  • Handle equipment safely in line with manual handling guidelines
  • Adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in electronics repair or a technical maintenance environment
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
  • Accreditations for Tier 1 product repairs (e.g. HP, Lenovo, Dell)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and careful handling of equipment
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous development
