Home Based (Midlands or North)

£75,000 – 80,000 + £7,200 Car Allowance

The Company

We are recruiting in partnership with a leading systems integrator and services provider who design, manufacture and install bespoke automated materials handling systems for customers across a broad range of engineering and manufacturing sectors.

The business are a global forces with operations throughout the globe and have seen their UK operation expand rapidly in the past decade.

The business offer their customers on site maintenance and service expertise once their systems are installed building highly effective teams to ensure the systems are working effectively, maintained to the highest standards and repaired at speed when breakdowns occur.

The business is now looking for a Multi Site Engineering Manager who will take accountability for overall performance for a number of their sites.

 

The Role

The Multi Site Engineering Manager will be overall responsible for the performance of several sites within their remit – each site will have a Site Manager/Site Lead that will report into the you directly and an onsite maintenance team working a pre agreed shift pattern to support the customer at site.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Managing assigned maintenance contracts including account management and budgetary control.
  • Managing re-negotiation of maintenance contracts when necessary
  • Developing the performance of resident sites identifying opportunities for continuous and performance improvement
  • Ensuring each of your sites are performing at expected levels for Key metrics at sites including Health and Safety, PPM Completion and breakdown response.
  • Developing relationships with key customers to further integrate services on offer
  • Reporting on site performance at senior management meetings
  • Supporting your sites with recruitment
  • Being the escalation point for major customer and personnel issues

 

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this Multi-Site Engineering Manager role you will need:

  • Experience in a maintenance management, engineering management or service management type role with multi site responsibility.
  • A first class attitude and approach towards customer service and engagement.
  • To be someone who can create vision and inspire a team
  • To be comfortable working with SAP or a relatable system
  • To be able to make informed decisions under pressure.
