Your new companyHays are delighted to be supporting our client in facilities management in recruiting a Regional Facilities Manager, covering a number of key sites in the West Midlands region, based in Birmingham. This is a key role in overseeing the delivery of high quality maintenance and operational delivery across a number of key sites.Your new roleYour new role will see you successfully deliver capital projects across the property assets, ensuring high quality maintenance both planned and reactive, driving continuous improvement and a robust Health & Safety strategy. Your duties will include:

  • Financial management including full budgetary responsibility.
  • Tracking of contract performance to ensure adherence to the correct standards.
  • Management of commercial contracts with key suppliers.
  • Develop a strong team culture and build a high-performance team.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will be a hard services FM specialist, possessing background experience in technical roles across the facilities space. You will have managerial experience and have managed contractors effectively in a similar setting, and will have dealt with PFI contracts and be able to call upon previous experience in a similar role, working on complex sites. You will also be able to reference this prior experience with technical qualifications, showcasing your proficiency as a Regional Facilities Manager.For this role the successful candidate is required to obtain SC Clearance, and so applicants must be UK nationals able to pass security clearance. Applicants not from the UK and without the Right to Work in the UK need not apply.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a basic salary of £55,000 plus car allowance, taking the overall package to over £60,000 per annum.
