This is an opportunity to join a a leader in sustainable construction and energy efficiency retrofit solutions. The company specialise in delivering high-quality retrofit projects to decarbonise homes and buildings across the UK, with a focus on improving energy efficiency. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of retrofit projects with a focus onExternal Wall Insulation (EWI) across residential and public sector properties.
The Role
As the Retrofit Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the on-site management and successful delivery of EWI and other retrofit works in line with PAS 2035 standards. You will lead on health & safety compliance, contractor coordination, quality assurance, and schedule management, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards and within budget and time constraints.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of retrofit sites, with a strong emphasis on External Wall Insulation installation.

Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with PAS 2035, building regulations, and H&S legislation.

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct staff.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.

Monitor project progress, prepare site reports, and attend project meetings.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, residents, and project stakeholders on-site.

Ensure compliance with Retrofit Coordinator specifications and support evidence collection for TrustMark requirements.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in retrofit or energy efficiency projects.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project sites.
Desirable

Retrofit Coordinator or Retrofit Assessor training (or working towards)

NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent

Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling certifications
