Job Description:Job Duties:
- Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components
- Conducting research to gather information on mechanical engineering projects
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project success
- Creating technical drawings using CAD software
- Performing quality control checks on mechanical systems
- Providing technical support and guidance to production teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional certification as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience in designing and testing mechanical systems
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Solidworks CAD software and other engineering tools (Mathcad)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in the manufacturing and production industry
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in an office or laboratory setting
- May be required to travel to project sites occasionally
- Full-time hours with occasional overtime may be necessary
