Location: Birmingham

Hourly rate: 18.00-22.00 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Skilled Toolmaker with strong hands-on expertise to join our precision engineering team. We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of tool making processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tooling, jigs, and fixtures
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Operate a range of manual and CNC machinery
• Conduct tooling adjustments, modifications, and fault-finding
• Ensure all work meets stringent quality and safety standards

Requirements:

• Proven record of vast tool making experience
• Strong knowledge of machining, fitting, and assembly techniques
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems
• Excellent precision, accuracy, and workmanship
