Hybrid working (2 days on site) West Midlands
Our client, a prominent entity in the automotive sector, is currently seeking a skilled CAD Draughtsperson for a contract opportunity. This role is critical for delivering high-quality drawings for Automotive Powertrain and Fuel System components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality drawings for Powertrain, Fuel System and Components according to specified requirements
- Produce high-quality drawings for test equipment in line with the specified standards
- Create or modify 2D drawings and 3D models using Siemens NX CAD package
- Manage drawing data within Siemens Teamcenter PLM
- Check drawings against standards and requirements, redrafting as necessary
- Ensure drawings go through the client approval process and are released as per the agreed schedule
- Capture and share process and drawing improvement opportunities with the broader team
- Self-improve through the client review process to fully adhere to drawing standards and rules
- Work unsupervised and respond effectively to feedback
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the automotive sector
- Proficiency in creating and modifying drawings using Siemens NX CAD package
- Ability to manage drawing data within Siemens Teamcenter PLM
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Capability to work independently and receive feedback constructively
