Job Title: Logistics CoordinatorType: Temp to PermLocation: Saltly - Birmingham Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pmSalary: £13.46 per hour ( Annual salary - £28,000)About the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced team within the transport and distribution sector. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone with a strong background in either pallet network operations or large-scale multi-drop logistics.You will play a key role in ensuring the coordination and execution of daily deliveries, managing time-critical schedules and maintaining excellent service levels across the board.Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party carriers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
  • Manage bookings, manifests, and transport documentation
  • Monitor delivery progress and resolve any logistical issues or delays
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery schedules and queries
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
  • Accurately update internal systems and logs
  • First point of call for all customer enquiries. 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a pallet network or high-volume multi-drop environment is essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure
  • Able to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
