Community Nurse
Covering Birmingham
Salary: £41,600 - £45,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Monday - Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm - no on call - 40 hours per week
Time recruitment are assisting a specialist independent community provider that specialises in home based support for those suffering recovering from brain injury in their search for a Community Nurse who is passionate about neurological/brain injury care.
A small close knit team; this is a wonderful opportunity to work with a highly accredited home-care provider as a Community Nurse for a service rated GOOD in all areas by CQC! Alongside this you will join a long standing team and gain a wealth of complex care skills!
The care packages are across Perry Barr, Handsworth Wood, Castle Vale, Acocks Green, Halesowen, Smethwick, West Bromwich and occasionally Coventry
Duties for the role of Community Nurse include:
- Provide clinical advice to the wider team
- Training and supporting care staff
- Risk assessment and safeguarding
- Delivery of complex care such as peg feeding, NG feeding, tracheostomy care
- Care reviews
- Completion of MARS charts

Applicants for the Community Nurse role should have the following:
- Complex care knowledge/experience NG feeding and Tracheostomy experience
- NMC registration - RGN qualified
- Competent with NG feeding and Tracheostomy
- Spinal cord experience preferred but not essential
