If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Memberships to join a prestigious professional organisation based in Birmingham and offering hybrid working.
As Head of Memberships, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing strategies to expand and enhance the organisations membership base. Working closely with the CEO, you will drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, increase retention, and build valuable partnerships within the industry. Additionally, you will oversee sponsorship opportunities, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
With a proactive and strategic mindset, you will lead membership engagement efforts, develop compelling membership propositions, and oversee the implementation of key findings from the latest membership surveys. You will also collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Events to refresh flagship events, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of members and partners alike.
To succeed in this Head of Memberships role, you will have significant experience in a senior membership or engagement role, ideally within a professional membership organisation or related sector. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills will be essential, as well as experience in financial management and budgeting. A background in the legal industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
