Assistant Headteacher – Complex Needs Provision – Birmingham – September 2025 Are you an experienced senior leader with a strong background in special education? A well-established special school in Birmingham is seeking an Interim Assistant Headteacher to lead and manage its Complex Needs Provision from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a school that is deeply committed to supporting children with Autism, communication needs, and associated complex learning difficulties.As Assistant Headteacher, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for the school’s complex needs provision, working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team. You will lead on curriculum, pastoral care, and staff development, ensuring pupils receive a high-quality, tailored education that meets their individual needs. Your leadership will help shape a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes both academic and personal development. Previous Assistant Headteacher and Complex Needs is essential to be considered for this position. Job Role:
  • Lead and manage the schools complex needs provision
  • Oversee curriculum development and delivery for pupils with Autism and communication needs
