Day, Afternoon and Night shifts are available Monday - Friday with optional weekends - 12 months a year workThis role will involve:- Local delivery and collection of Automotive parts- Local sequence deliveries from manufacturing facility into plant- Some distance deliveries to and from other suppliers/manufacturers- Start times vary and levels of flexibility are needed based on what shift you choose.- 8-12 hour shifts (Minimum 9 paid / Inc 1 hour Overtime)- 3.-5 shifts per week- No Handball- Sites based in Solihull & North BirminghamSuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:- Have at least 6 months C+E experience- Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 2 years- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:Monday to Friday Days - £15.40 per hour (06:00-18:00)Monday to Friday Nights - £19.26 per hour (18:00-06:00)Overtime after 8 hours per shift £23.10 to £26.95Guaranteed 9 hours per shift (1 hours overtime daily)Exceptional weekend rates upto £30.80 per hour!Pay rates will increase significantly after 12 months worth of service on contract.Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)- Full site and safe systems of work induction- Vehicle familiarisation- Practical driving assessmentWorking for Pertemps, you will benefit from:- Weekly or Monthly pay via BACS (PAYE)- Free Uniform- Access to driver training including CPC- Dedicated local consultants- 24/7 contactPlease click apply if interested!
