Role: Night Porter - Temporary
Location: Birmingham
Salary / Rate of pay: From 13.68 per hour

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a hotel in the Birmingham area and seeking a temporary Night Porter to join their team on an immediate basis, starting this week on a part-time basis!

What's in it for you when doing temporary work?

• Set hours each week
• Meals provided while on duty.
• MUST be local as no accommodation can be provided
• Hours from 9.30pm to 7.00am

What's involved as a Night Porter?

• Perform night audit, ensuring all procedures are completed to the required standards.
• Handling enquiries effectively and efficiently.
• Ensuring company policies and audit procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Ensuring security of the hotel and fire & safety procedures.
• Taking calls and reservations, and other front office duties
• Completing general reception duties
• Cleaning of conference rooms, and public areas (no toilets), light duties
• Preparing and serving room service when necessary
• Assisting in the bar, serving drinks, etc., as and when required

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work on weekends and shifts
• Friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work in the UK.
• Opera PMS essential or Cloud would be advantageous

This is ideally suitable for someone who is seeking additional hours in the week or immediately available with no commitments including notice or holiday.
