TeacherActive is delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and well-respected SEND provision in Selly Oak. The school delivers a creative and flexible curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students aged 5–11, most of whom are diagnosed with ASD, SLD, or ADD/ADHD.

The school's ethos centres around inclusivity, independence, and emotional development, with a strong focus on life skills and social learning alongside academic growth.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join the team in October working full-time on a maternity cover post with the potential for longer-term placement.

• Deliver engaging, adapted lessons across all Key Stages (KS1–KS2)

• Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, and ADHD

• Use therapeutic approaches to enhance learning and wellbeing

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Proven experience working with SEND pupils

• A calm, adaptable, and nurturing teaching style

• Experience or willingness to use therapeutic practices

• 24/7 support from our dedicated consultant team
