Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teacher to work on a part-time and long-term basis in a one-form entry Primary School in Central Birmingham.

The school has been rated GOOD by OFSTED. The school pride themselves on supporting children to develop their unique talents and self-evaluation is at the heart of our client’s school.

As a Year 5 Teacher, at our client’s school, you will be expected but not limited to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, work alongside the Teaching Assistant, safeguard all students, mark student’s work in line with the school policy, attend staff meetings, take part in the playground duty rota and create a positive learning environment.

This Year 5 Teacher role is start after the Easter Holidays with a transition period with the current class teacher before the holidays. With this role, there is also an option of a temp to perm position for September 2025.

This role is for experienced teachers interested in a 2/3 day a week class teacher role.

To apply for this Year 5 Teacher role, you will need:
• Experience in teaching either KS1 or KS2
• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement
• An Enhanced and Paid for DBS on the update service
