Aspire People are looking for a talented Year 6 Teacher with QTS to join a fantastic school in Kings Norton starting in January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Year 6 students, focusing on key subjects such as English, Maths, and Science

Prepare students for their SATs, ensuring they are well-equipped for the transition to secondary school

Use data-driven insights to adapt lessons and provide targeted support to meet individual student needs

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students to develop both academically and personally

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and well-being

Maintain strong classroom management, ensuring students stay motivated and focused

Provide constructive feedback and regular assessments to ensure students are progressing towards their goals

Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - M3-UPS1 pay scale

Experience teaching in primary education, particularly in Year 6

Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation

Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for helping students achieve their best

Proven ability to use assessment data to inform planning and differentiate learning

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff

Commitment to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
