We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team in Tyseley. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAGE and possess strong analytical skills. This is a permanent role with a competitive salary and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Payroll Officer
  • Proficient in using SAGE software
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage payroll for all employees on a timely basis
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, taxes, and other deductions
  • Maintain employee records and update changes in salary, benefits, and taxes
  • Prepare and distribute payslips and reports to employees
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll policies and regulations
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management
  • Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasts related to payroll
  • Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.
