We are currently seeking a Sheltered Scheme Manager to join a supportive team in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a retirement living setting. The role is offered on a part-time, 4-month contract basis, with the potential to be extended.
Key Responsibilities of a Sheltered Scheme Manager:
- Oversee the daily operations of the scheme, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and supportive environment for residents
- Provide low-level support and housing-related advice to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external services to maintain effective support networks
- Coordinate and support community engagement activities and resident events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures
What We're Looking For in a Sheltered Scheme Manager:
- Relevant experience in housing, care, or support services
- Proven experience working as a Sheltered Scheme Manager or in a similar role within supported or retirement living
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with a compassionate and proactive approach
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy management, and welfare benefits
- Flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours and take part in an on-call rota if needed
