About the Role - Head of Strategy and GrowthAs head of strategy and growth, you’ll lead the design and implementation of the organisation’s growth strategy across the employability and adult skills landscape. You’ll develop new partnerships, explore funding opportunities, and ensure long-term sustainability and impact in a rapidly evolving sector.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading business development planning, bids, and funding applications

  • Identifying and securing new opportunities within adult skills and employability

  • Engaging with FE colleges, combined authorities, and sector partners

  • Shaping strategic employer engagement and influencing delivery models

  • Using performance data and sector insight to guide senior leadership

This is a hybrid role based in the Midlands, offering flexibility and strong regional influence.

Who We're Looking ForYou’re a commercially astute, socially motivated head of strategy and growth with experience leading bids and developing partnerships in the education or employability sector.

To succeed, you’ll need:

  • A proven track record in strategic business development

  • In-depth understanding of ESFA funding, AEB contracts, and employer engagement

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder relationship skills

  • The ability to translate insight into strategy and action

  • A genuine commitment to creating inclusive, impactful programmes
