I am delighted to present an exciting opportunity on behalf of my client who are looking for a Resource Planning Manager to join their Project and Programmes division.
You will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of resources, monitoring utilisation, and ensuring that the infrastructure and workforce are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead, mentor, and empower Resource Planning Analyst(s), cultivating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, continuous development, and delivering results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to anticipate future resource needs using data-driven insights. Proactively identify potential capacity challenges and develop forward-thinking strategies to ensure readiness and resilience.
- Develop and maintain forward-looking capacity plans that anticipate evolving business needs and ensure the organization is equipped to scale effectively. Align resource availability with strategic goals to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
- Drive efficient use of resources by continuously monitoring deployment across projects, using data insights to identify inefficiencies, balance workloads, and enhance productivity.
- Harness the power of data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that inform smarter decision-making. Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable strategies that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Proven experience in resource and capacity planning within complex organizational environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify and communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Skilled in influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels of management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, with high capability in Microsoft applications—especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement.
