The Company

We are currently retained by a Private Equity-backed, UK-headquartered provider of power services. With a strategic plan targeting substantial growth over the next 5 years, the company is entering a pivotal phase of commercial scale-up. Capitalising on accelerating demand for clean, temporary energy solutions, the business is now seeking a transformative Sales Director to lead its next stage of expansion across core UK and European markets.

The Role

This executive-level position will lead all revenue-generating functions, including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Partnerships, and Sector Development. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Team, the Sales Director will define and execute a unified growth strategy focused on high-potential verticals.

With full ownership of the commercial agenda, you will be responsible for revenue planning, pricing strategy, margin improvement, and fleet utilisation. A key focus will be building a scalable, high-performance sales organisation, formalising OEM and distribution partnerships, and embedding a repeatable go-to-market engine aligned with the business's long-term objectives.

The Person

We are seeking a commercially proven executive with experience of scaling high-growth businesses in technical sectors such as energy, renewables, temporary power, or construction services. A strong command of long-cycle enterprise sales, coupled with leadership of cross-functional growth teams, is essential.

You will be a data-led, entrepreneurial leader with a sharp commercial instinct and excellent stakeholder management skills. Prior experience in power services and building a European or multi-market distribution network is advantageous.
