Are you a talented Toolmaker looking for your next challenge? We have an incredible opportunity for you to join a leading team in the precision engineering sector!

Location: Birmingham

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, maintain, and repair tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect and test completed tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues promptly.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Toolmaker, ideally within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment with both Single Op and Progression tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling, grinding, turning, and EDM.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus, but not essential.
