Aspire People are currently recruiting for a KS2 Intervention Teacher To work in a school in area of Birmingham. This role is for an October/November 25 start and full time.

The school are looking for a Year 6 Intervention Teacher who wants a new challenge working as part of a supportive Year 6 team, taking the Year 6 groups in the mornings, working with Greater Depth groups, challenging them and guiding progress and in the afternoons it will be class based covering a Year 6 class. Some planning with the team will be expected as part of the role to ensure that progress and attainment is being monitored through learning.

This is a large school with good transport links. It has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and provide additional support for these students both within the classroom and extended resources within the school

To apply for this role, you will need to hold QTS and have an understand of the current KS2 curriculum and covered SATS preparation.

As a full time, teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.

* Teach Year 6 SATS intervention and preparation
* Assess, mark and plan lessons and SATS practice papers
* Assess achievements of pupils.
* Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & dept meetings.
