Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm
Long Term Futures are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school in B70, West Bromwich. This rewarding role involves working closely with children to provide both academic and behavioural support, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with behaviour management strategies to help them achieve their full potential.
- Deliver targeted interventions to address behavioural challenges and promote positive attitudes.
- Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support emotional well-being and development.
- Collaborate with teachers to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a behaviour mentor or teaching assistant role.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting children with behavioural, social, or emotional difficulties.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
