Process Engineer responsibilities include -

  • Developing and optimising manufacturing processes from concept to production.
  • Assessing production processes, collecting data, and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Designing, testing, and upgrading mechanical and automated systems, including batch operations.
  • Leading the introduction and commissioning of new equipment on site.
  • Creating clear documentation, SOPs, and process control plans.
  • Implementing and maintaining 5S and other lean methodologies across production areas.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve process issues.
  • Supporting NPI and design activities with process data and operational feedback.

Process Engineer desirable skills and experience -

  • Experience in a similar role: Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, or Production Engineer.
  • Proven background in process optimisation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and data-driven analysis.
  • Exposure to PCB, electronics, chemical handling, or automotive manufacturing.
