Client Overview:
A specialist British manufacturer of high-quality flexible hoses and ducting systems. Their product portfolio serves a wide variety of sectors including agriculture, construction, defense, marine, mining, automotive, leisure, industrial and rail.
Role Overview:
As an Extrusion Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the setup, operation and maintenance of extrusion machinery to produce hoses and ducting to the highest quality standards.聽
Responsibilities:
路聽聽 聽Manage a team of 12 Setters on day shift.
路聽聽 聽Responsible for the production of PVC and PU products to the required customer specifications.
路聽聽 聽Configure extrusion lines using proper tooling (dies, heads)
路聽聽 聽Prepare machinery for operation through cleaning and assembly.聽
路聽聽 聽Manage startups and shutdowns of extruders and related equipment.
路聽聽 聽Working to job tickets and job specification sheets, accurately completing all production-related controlled documents, ensuring compliance to customer requirements and quality standards.
路聽聽 聽Ensure finished product packaging is completed to specification.
路聽聽 聽Completion of ad-hoc duties to meet the needs of the business, subject to appropriate training.
路聽聽 聽Identify when issues require escalation to site management or maintenance.
Person Profile:
路聽聽 聽Experience leading teams.
路聽聽 聽Plastic mould tool setting experience, preferably in extrusion processes.
路聽聽 聽Committed to achieving excellence in both quality and line efficiency.
路聽聽 聽Development of team members, supporting training and enquiries.
路聽聽 聽Communicates in an open and honest manner, always demonstrating ethical and professional behaviours.
路聽聽 聽Dependability - Takes personal ownership of all aspects of the job role.
