Position: M&E Project Manager

Location: West Midlands - Some projects are UK wide

Salary: 55-60k plus company car or allowance

Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contractor with over 20 years of proven success within the industry. Based on the outskirts of Birmingham, the business specialises in delivering high-quality, technically complex M&E installations, primarily within mission-critical environments.

The Projects Division currently delivers an annual turnover of approximately 2-4 million, with individual project values typically ranging from 50,000 to 250,000. Projects commonly involve high-dependency technical upgrades such as UPS systems, generators, and chiller replacements.

The Project Manager will take full ownership of projects from mobilisation through to final handover, working closely with a small, experienced delivery team. The role covers all aspects of project execution, including planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and completion documentation.

M&E Project Manager Job Requirements

• Proven experience delivering M&E or building services projects
• Technically minded with Mission Critical M&E infrastructure
• A strong understanding of project workflows, subcontractor management, and technical documentation
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders effectively
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and within a small team

M&E Project Manager Salary & Benefits
