Project Manager - 20m Industrial Construction Project

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a solid background in delivering industrial construction projects? We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly capable individual to lead a significant 20m industrial build in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading national main contractor and manage a key project from start to finish.

The Company

Our client is a highly respected national main contractor with a turnover of over 500m. They specialise in delivering large-scale residential and industrial projects up to 200m. Known for their commitment to quality, health and safety, and a collaborative work environment, they are a sought-after employer in the industry with a robust pipeline of future projects.

The Role

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of a new-build, 20m industrial development. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be the main point of contact for all site activities, ensuring the project is delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the project, including programming, budget control, and risk management.

  • Supervise and motivate the site team and subcontractors.

  • Maintain strong relationships with the client, design team, and all project stakeholders.

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Oversee all procurement and contractual requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on industrial or commercial construction projects valued at 10m+.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Excellent commercial acumen and contractual awareness.

  • Relevant construction qualification (e.g., Degree, HNC/HND).

  • SMSTS and CSCS Black Card certification.

  • Based in or able to commute to the Birmingham area.

Remuneration

This is a senior position with a highly attractive package.
