Are you an experienced Project Manager from a roofing and cladding background looking for a stable, long-term role on a major commercial project? Do you want to work for a business where quality, ownership and pride in delivery are genuinely valued?
This specialist contractor specialises in delivering complete building envelope projects. They work mainly within the Commercial, where they work with a number of large Tier-1 contractors. As a business they have found consistent success and recently have secured a large project. Which is why they are looking to add to their dynamic workforce with this great opportunity.
In this role, you will act as the lead on site, overseeing multiple site managers and coordinating all aspects of delivery. You'll be heavily programme-focused, managing labour, materials, budgets and timelines, while acting as the main point of contact between site teams, clients and directors. The role offers autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a flagship project.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a confident and outgoing Project Manager with strong experience in commercial roofing and cladding. You'll be a clear communicator who takes pride in your work, commands respect on site and is motivated by delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
This is also a role with genuine long-term prospects. There is a clear pathway from Project Manager into Contracts Manager, with future opportunities potentially developing into senior operational or operations management roles as the business continues to grow.
The Role:
* Lead delivery of a large-scale commercial roofing and cladding project
* Manage and oversee multiple Site Managers
* Programme planning, monitoring and delay management
* Labour, materials and budget control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
The Person:
* Experience in commercial roofing and cladding projects is essential
* Proven experience working as a Project Manager on site-based projects
