A respected national construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager in its Birmingham office to oversee a portfolio of residential and regeneration schemes across the Midlands. The Senior Project Manager will join a well-established team delivering high-profile, multi-phase developments for both public and private clients.
This role offers the Senior Project Manager the chance to lead 20m-80m schemes across complex urban sites, with involvement from planning and procurement through to completion.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from feasibility through to delivery, working across residential-led, mixed-use, and urban regeneration developments. Responsibilities include:
Managing full lifecycle delivery of large-scale construction projects
Leading project teams including consultants, design teams and contractors
Client liaison and account management
Preparing and maintaining project controls, cost plans and risk strategies
Overseeing procurement and contract administration (JCT/NEC)
Mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development

The Senior Project Manager
The ideal Senior Project Manager will have:
A degree in Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a consultancy or client-side setting
Strong residential or regeneration project background
MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM chartered status
Experience managing stakeholder relationships and technical teams
