In-House Counsel

In-House Counsel (initial 12 month FTC but likely to be made permanent)
Birmingham city centre based - c.70-80k

Exclusive in-house counsel role with a genuine success story and sector disruptor, continuing to grow rapidly and with purpose in the service industry.

Working with the GC and Co Sec, you will provide pragmatic in-house company commercial legal advice to support the continued growth and business aspirations.

You will handle a range of matters however there will be a focus on commercial contracts/agreements as well as corporate acquisitions, governance, co sec work.

Likely to have 4+ years PQE you may be in private practice or in-house and we are certainly keen to hear from Corporate lawyers (looking to move in-house) where they can uses their technical experience but also diversify their skills to become and in-house all rounder.

Alternatively you may be a commercial lawyer / in-house counsel who enjoys variety and looking to build your corporate and co sec exposure.

Culture is crucial, you will enjoy a dynamic, professional feel, where there is pace, commerciality and entrepreneurialism. The legal function is highly regarded and is able to truly influence as a key business partner. You must be willing to keep pushing the personal relationship have a robust ability to problem solve and enjoy the exposure with the Exec Board that brings.

You will based largely from the Birmingham city centre office, with potential time spent in one or two other regional offices.
