Description
- Conduct detailed property inspections to identify disrepair issues and potential liabilities.
- P35 reports, Section 11's and 6.3 assessments relating to a clause within the pre-action protocol
- Prepare comprehensive reports to support legal claims and litigation processes.
- Provide expert advice on building defects and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate and timely case preparation.
- Manage disrepair cases efficiently, keeping all relevant parties informed of progress.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
- Attend court hearings as required to provide professional testimony.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assigned cases.
Profile
A successful Disrepair & Litigations Surveyor should have:
- Professional qualifications in surveying or a related field.
- Experience in handling property disrepair cases and legal disputes.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction standards.
- Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
