Description

  • Conduct detailed property inspections to identify disrepair issues and potential liabilities.
  • P35 reports, Section 11's and 6.3 assessments relating to a clause within the pre-action protocol
  • Prepare comprehensive reports to support legal claims and litigation processes.
  • Provide expert advice on building defects and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate and timely case preparation.
  • Manage disrepair cases efficiently, keeping all relevant parties informed of progress.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Attend court hearings as required to provide professional testimony.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assigned cases.

Profile

A successful Disrepair & Litigations Surveyor should have:

  • Professional qualifications in surveying or a related field.
  • Experience in handling property disrepair cases and legal disputes.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction standards.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
