We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Employee Relations (ER) Manager or HR Business Partner to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a pivotal role supporting a diverse workforce across multiple sites, ensuring effective delivery of employee relations strategies and business partnering.

Description
Provide expert ER advice on complex and sensitive issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues.
Act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders, advising on people strategy and workforce planning.
Lead or support business transformation, restructuring, and change initiatives.
Manage and coach HR Advisors to build ER capability across the function.
Monitor employment legislation and ensure policies and practices remain compliant and up-to-date.
Support the implementation of HR initiatives that drive engagement and improve employee experience

Profile
CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with significant HR and ER experience at a senior level.
Proven track record managing complex employee relations issues in a fast-paced environment.
Confident influencing and advising senior stakeholders with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience in change management, organisational design or restructuring projects is advantageous.
Collaborative and resilient, with excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
