Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000
Location: Remote (with occasional travel to London)
Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our clients growing team. This role will provide crucial support to the CFO in managing the financial operations of the business. You will be responsible for budgeting, tracking spend, and working closely with business operations to ensure financial goals are met. The ideal candidate will thrive in an analytical environment and have the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Budgeting: Assist the COO in preparing, managing, and monitoring financial budgets across various departments. Help track spend and assess budget adherence while providing insights for improvements.
- Business Operations Support: Collaborate with business operations to ensure financial processes align with operational goals, enabling both strategic decision-making and efficient resource allocation.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage advanced analytics tools and techniques to interpret financial data, producing actionable insights for the business. Draw out meaningful conclusions to support growth and efficiency across multiple revenue streams.
- Revenue Stream Management: Work closely with various teams to analyse and optimise the performance of diverse revenue streams, providing financial forecasts and supporting operational decisions.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as a bridge between finance and operational teams, helping to translate financial data into understandable and strategic insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for the COO and senior management team as required. Occasionally travel to London for meetings or strategic discussions as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a finance business partner role or similar, preferably within a fast-paced or growing business.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from complex financial data.
- Experience working with budgets and managing financial planning processes.
- Exposure to multiple revenue streams and the ability to understand and support business operations financially.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various business units and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
