We are currently working in partnership with a Public Sector Organisation based in Birmingham, who are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator on a temporary contract. The position is due to start within the next two weeks.

It is a hybrid role with two days in office, and the hourly rate on offer is £17umb.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the Procurement Team in delivering value-for-money purchasing in line with the procurement policies and procedures
  • Taking notes and utilising excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
  • Assisting with the preparation and issue of tender documentation, requests for quotations, and supplier evaluation processes
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records, including contract registers, purchase order logs, and supplier databases
  • Liaising with internal departments to clarify purchasing requirements and ensure timely processing of requisitions
  • Assisting with supplier onboarding, ensuring due diligence checks and compliance statutory requirements

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Skilled in utilising Excel
  • A proactive attitude, with a keen interest in procurement

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
