Senior Buyer - IT, Software & Hardware (PART TIME)

Location: Hybrid (occasional travel to Warwick)
Contract Type: Contract

I am seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our procurement team and take ownership of end-to-end procurement projects within IT, software, and hardware categories.

In this role, you'll work independently on projects from requirements gathering through to RFQs, supplier selection, and contract signing. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver value, ensure compliance, and build strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle across IT categories (software, hardware, services).

  • Run RFQs, tenders, and negotiations to deliver best value.

  • Draft, review, and execute supplier contracts.

  • Work independently on procurement projects, reporting into the Procurement Manager.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements and manage expectations.

  • Support supplier risk management and ensure procurement compliance.

About You:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement (software, hardware, SaaS, or technology services).

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes.

  • Skilled in RFQ/tender management, negotiation, and contract drafting.

  • Able to work independently on multiple projects.

  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Warwick.
