- Lead procurement activities within the Transport category, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business goals.
- Support Capex procurement projects (training provided) and contribute to cross-functional procurement initiatives.
- Drive cost savings, service improvements, and supplier performance across key areas.
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify innovation and value opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage RFQs, tender processes, and supplier onboarding.
- Demonstrable experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain procurement at a strategic level.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Confidence managing stakeholder relationships and influencing at all levels.
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- ERP system experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
- CIPS qualification (or studying towards) is desirable.
- Salary up to £55,000, depending on experience.
