The position requires candidates to work across early, afternoon, and night shifts on a 3-week rotation.
Applicants should have prior experience in quality control, particularly with painted parts or injection mouldings in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
A minimum qualification of ONC (or equivalent) in Quality/Control Techniques or Engineering is preferred, along with knowledge of automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
Strong communication skills and the ability to drive quality processes are essential for ensuring high-quality components are delivered to customers.

Quality Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Automotive Quality Technician to support quality processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in driving the resolution of both internal and external quality concerns, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and supporting production teams in delivering high-quality components to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspecting complex mechanical components
Identifying cosmetic defects such as blemishes, scratches, and missing clips
Completing quality checklists and recording inspection results accurately
Issue, track, and enforce Quality Alerts, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Conduct or verify audits on process to ensure compliance with specifications.
Assist in line trials and validate outcomes against quality expectations.
Support operations and production teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience working with painted parts or injection mouldings in a quality control environment
Past experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly environment
ONC (or equivalent) in Quality/Control Techniques or Engineering.
Strong working knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and control plans.
In-depth understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 automotive quality standards.
Understanding of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization and with external customers.
