Pertemps is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading UK construction consultancy for an experienced and ambitious Project Manager to deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone with a background in infrastructure, logistics, or industrial builds, and will initially be focused on the infrastructure of a residential scheme.

The role will require regular travel to the Southwest as the first project site is based in Chippenham.

The Role:
You'll take ownership of a variety of commercial and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading project delivery and contract administration duties
  • Managing Surveyors and contractors
  • Managing client relationships and stakeholder meetings
  • Undertaking site visits and overseeing contractor performance
  • Preparing tender documentation and managing procurement processes

What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally in infrastructure (e.g., S278), industrial or logistics sectors
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Must have or be working towards a recognised qualification such as APM, CIOB, or RICS with a relevant accredited degree
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport essential

Hours & Flexibility:
  • 37.5 hours per week: Monday-Thursday (7.5 hrs), Friday (6.5 hrs)
  • Flexible start (8:00-10:00am) and finish times (Mon-Thu: 4:30-6:30pm, Fri: 3:30-5:30pm)
  • One hour lunch break (12:45-1:45pm)
