This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Demolition Estimator to join a long-established contractor experiencing significant growth across the UK. With strong progression potential and the chance to build and eventually head up the estimating function, this role offers real long-term career value.

Do you have proven experience estimating demolition projects or a background in demolition focused QS work? Are you confident working through tenders methodically and producing accurate cost evaluations? Do you want to join a supportive, growing contractor where you can shape your own department over time?

This contractor has been operating for nearly four decades, delivering projects ranging from small structures to large high-rise demolition schemes, valued between 50k and 4m. You will play a crucial role in freeing up senior staff time and improving bid efficiency as the company grows.

The ideal candidate will bring demolition experience; either as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor, along with strong numerical ability, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working independently on bids. Strong Excel skills are essential.

This is a fantastic career move for a driven professional who wants to make a tangible impact within a growing business, benefit from strong support, and progress towards heading up the Estimating department.

The Role:

  • Lead tender submissions from initial enquiry through completion
  • Visit sites to review scope and requirements
  • Liaise with senior management on tender decisions
  • Source quotations and evaluate project costs
  • Create initial programmes and prepare supporting documents
  • Support wider business growth through efficient, accurate estimating

The Person:

  • Experience in demolition estimating or demolition-focused QS work
  • Strong maths and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel
