Working closely with project managers and site teams, the Demolition Estimator will prepare accurate costings, tenders, and project budgets for demolition and enabling works projects. Demolition Estimator - Position Remuneration
- Base salary: 40,000-65,000 per year, depending on experience
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Holidays: Standard company holiday allowance plus bank holidays

Demolition Estimator - Position Overview
- Prepare accurate costings, budgets, and tender submissions for residential, commercial, and industrial demolition projects
- Analyse project drawings, specifications, and site surveys to calculate materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor requirements
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, and suppliers to gather technical and commercial information
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive and realistic pricing
- Assist in the preparation of bid documents, schedules, and reports for clients and internal stakeholders
- Maintain and update estimating records, cost databases, and project documentation
Demolition Estimator - Position Requirements
- Proven experience in estimating or quantity surveying within demolition, construction, or civil engineering projects
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and project costs
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with project teams, clients, and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience of estimating software or CAD packages desirable
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
