Carriera is working with a highly regarded multidisciplinary cost consultancy that has a strong offering of nationwide projects throughout the UK.

About the position:

The Cost Management team in Birmingham is well established and is experiencing rapid growth. They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor/ Employer's Agent to join their hotel and leisure team and help the team deliver and manage multiple new build and refurbishment hotel projects from inception to completion.

As an ideal candidate, you will be able to leverage your experience in the hotel and leisure space and use your own initiative and liaise with clients to answer queries, issue variations, ensuring compliance, and attend site meetings. You will also be involved in placing and coordinating FF&E orders.

About you:

  • Ideally have completed your APC or be on the path to completion.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the hotel / leisure industry.
  • Have a problem-solving mindset and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a clean, valid UK driving license and be willing to travel nationwide.
