I am pleased to present an opportunity for an Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor based in the Birmingham area. This position, initially offered on a temporary basis, but with the opportunity to go permanent.
The hourly rate will be between 17.91 - 28.00 through an Umbrella/CIS Company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all costs relating to building and engineering projects.
- Perform risk, value management and cost control during projects.
- Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.
- Assist in establishing organisation's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
- Work closely with the Senior Cost Consultant to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and work schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities.
- Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
