Are you a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking freelance opportunities with a well-established, family-run business?
Our client is actively seeking a skilled freelance Quantity Surveyor to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from 5,000 to 6 million. They deliver refurbishment and new build projects for a variety of sectors, including the Public Sector, Health Authorities, Education, Retail, Property Management, and Blue Chip companies.
As a key freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate cost estimates, meticulous budget management, and proactive cost control throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Collaborating effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver timely and insightful cost advice.
- Conducting thorough contract analysis, identifying potential risks, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Preparing detailed bills of quantities and comprehensive tender documents.
- Evaluating subcontractor and supplier bids rigorously and negotiating advantageous terms.
- Closely monitoring project progress and variations, ensuring strict adherence to budgetary and contractual requirements.
- Contributing your expertise to the ongoing enhancement of our cost management processes.
