Business Development Manager – Commercial Fleet Solutions

Location: Hybrid (South Wales) Or Remote |  Full-time | UK travel required

A growing green tech company is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to lead the sales and business development of cutting-edge Mobile Integrated Photovoltaics (MIPV) solutions.

MIPV represents the next generation of solar technology for mobile applications—serving commercial fleets, leisure vehicles, portable infrastructure, and deployable power systems.

Your Mission:

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive the growth of MIPV products across the UK. You’ll identify and develop partnerships with manufacturers, resellers, and key players in sectors focused on reducing carbon emissions and adopting sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales of mobile-integrated solar products across transport, leisure, and portable power sectors.

  • Prospect new business through research, social media, industry events, and direct engagement.

  • Secure project specifications and deliver tailored proposals including energy modelling.

  • Build and manage client accounts and installer networks.

  • Support marketing through digital campaigns and content.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales tools and resources.

  • Lead CPD and training sessions for relevant industry sectors.

  • Travel to meet clients, attend expos, and oversee project implementation.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven sales experience in the fleet or mobile component market.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive.

  • Strong business development and communication skills.

  • Experience or interest in solar energy or sustainable technologies.

  • Knowledge of the mobile power market or deployable energy systems is a plus.

  • Competency with digital tools, CRM, and social platforms.

  • UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
