- Maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the team on day-to-day accounting.
- Reporting is key to the role – assist in preparing reports, P&L and VAT, along with monthly accruals, cashflow and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing and recording weekly transactions and payments, tracking business credit card payments and statements.
- Assisting the senior team with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices within payment terms and resolve any errors or discrepancies across accounts.
- 2 years or more experience working as part of a professional finance team in a busy company.
- Prior experience as a finance assistant, finance administrator or bookkeeper, or similar job role.
- A structured and organised approach, coupled with an open communication style and confidence to take feedback.
- A desire to learn, grow, and to take on new challenges.
