About the Role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Chemical Analysis Department. You will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and shop-floor processes by collecting and analysing process solutions. This position requires precision, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct wet chemical analysis, including acid-base titrations, pH measurements, and sugar content testing.
  • Prepare and standardize stock solutions.
  • Perform trend analysis of process solutions and hydrogen testing.
  • Calibrate laboratory and test equipment.
  • Conduct copper sulfate testing and support chemical process audits.
  • Maintain accurate records, data entry via LIMS, and stock control.
  • Work closely with the onsite chemical service provider and support the HSE department as needed.
  • Follow technical procedures meticulously.
  • Provide flexible overtime support as required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with titrations and solution preparation.
  • Proficiency in calibrating laboratory equipment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in a NADCAP/ISO 17025 laboratory is desirable but not essential.
  • Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
