About the Role
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Chemical Analysis Department. You will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and shop-floor processes by collecting and analysing process solutions. This position requires precision, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct wet chemical analysis, including acid-base titrations, pH measurements, and sugar content testing.
- Prepare and standardize stock solutions.
- Perform trend analysis of process solutions and hydrogen testing.
- Calibrate laboratory and test equipment.
- Conduct copper sulfate testing and support chemical process audits.
- Maintain accurate records, data entry via LIMS, and stock control.
- Work closely with the onsite chemical service provider and support the HSE department as needed.
- Follow technical procedures meticulously.
- Provide flexible overtime support as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with titrations and solution preparation.
- Proficiency in calibrating laboratory equipment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in a NADCAP/ISO 17025 laboratory is desirable but not essential.
- Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
