  • Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Additional Availability Required: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Monday to Friday)


About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Organic Division team in Bretby. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for laboratory work and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analyses in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and equipment for testing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests and results.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and laboratory best practices.
  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Support evening operations as required between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM.


Requirements:

  • Previous laboratory experience (preferably in an organic chemistry or environmental testing setting).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to support evening work hours.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
