ABC Teachers are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Long-Term Art Supply Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Hall Green from September 2025. This rewarding opportunity is open to qualified teachers on the M1 – M6 pay scale. Located in the heart of Hall Green, this inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school is renowned for its supportive leadership, strong pastoral care and commitment to fostering creativity. The school promotes a vibrant arts culture, encouraging students to explore and develop their artistic talents in a nurturing environment.

Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum.

  • Encourage students to express themselves creatively and develop their skills.

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.

  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings and school events.

 

Requirements

The successful Art Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Excellent subject knowledge in Art and Design.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A genuine passion for inspiring students through Art.

  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
